Eileen Blair passed away on November 29, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer. She faced this battle with grace and dignity; charming health care staff with her good humour, strength and kindness. Eileen was known for her interest in science, passion for learning and her love of heated debates. She was a remarkable, intelligent and vibrant woman with a beautiful smile and a kind heart. She was and will continue to be a cherished mother, wife, sister and friend.

The Memorial Service for Eileen was held at St. Theresa's Parish with Father Garry Cain presiding in Temiscaming, Quebec on January 12, 2008.
Thank you to Father Cain and the church choir for giving a very special and thoughtful service.

A year ago today we lost something precious. I am taking today to remember how wonderful my Mom was and how blessed I was to have had her in my life. I love you Mom.

I am truly saddened by the passing of Eileen. As a former Environment Canada employee in Fredericton, I worked with Eileen over many years when she was employed with St. Anne. Eileen was a diligent worker and a delight to work with, always ready to debate and clarify requirements. Her smiles and her passion for life's offerings are foremost in my mind.
